Tenaiste Mary Harney TD which took place at the centre of Irish Polish Society in Dublin. The topic of the meeting was the improving relationships between Ireland and Poland. The locals of Poland strongly support the support of the government of Ireland for Treaty of Nice. As for this situation the Irish Police Society is supporting the Treaty. The people of Poland in Ireland whether they were temporary or the residents they showed the keenness in having a discussion with Tanaiste. They wanted to have a discussion regarding the work permits and the immigration system.

The facilitation of the workers in Ireland was also made a topic to be discussed. A public opinion was created that the Poles arriving in Ireland are quite proficient and are craftspeople. They made a contribution to the national development as suits Celtic Tiger of Europe. The people of Poland made huge sacrifices in the last war for protecting Western values which helped whole Europe.

It was discussed that they should now get a welcome in European Union. Both the nations have seen bad days of overseas domination. With the good fortune Ireland has been blessed with great future. As per Irish Independent the knife crime in Ireland has seen a considerable rise in the four years. These crimes are committed by the teenagers and they belong to the age group of 15 to 19 years. One of the teenagers who got arrested has killed 21 year old man.

Two nationalities of the Polish teenagers have nothing to do with the attacks and perhaps there was no reason for it. These youngsters were really looking for creating some trouble. There is another case where a 26 year old man had killed his girlfriend. The citizens in EU were involved in a polling session regarding the experience of the crime.
